The War Memorial Natatorium in Waikiki was recognized today as one of America’s official World War I Centennial Memorials.
Checkout the photos and video from the unveiling of a plaque at the Natatorium gate. This was the kickoff to Hawaii’s observance (on Nov. 11) of the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI. There will be a series of free, fun, family events that day, all of them at or near the Natatorium.
